Mattel creates a 3-D printer that allows children to build shapes that can assembled to build a toy. Children are encouraged to make their own toy, or they can choose from templates provided by the app that corresponds with the printer, Autodesk.

Israeli company Ripples creates coffee machine that uses natural coffee extract to make picture on the foam. Selfies, emojis, logos are just the few images that can be printed on the foam.

“Google computer becomes the first non-human to officially qualify as a car driver”

Google computers have been officially recognized as the drivers of Google's self driving cars. This recognition by the US National Highway Transportation Safety Administration is an important step to getting Google's self-driving vehicles on the road in the future. The car is equipped with technology that can detect people, other cars, traffic lights, and has the ability to adjust the steering and acceleration according to the surrounding cars. These cars are being tested in California and so far have been very successful.
